Summer Reboot

To blog or not to blog, that is some kind of phrase some old guy said sometime along time ago in a galaxy far far away.

Hello there, a full reboot has begun. We posted once and then...fell off the earth? No silly, we are still alive and making the best of what we got.

The kids are doing well, and although not inserted in the above image, we actually had another girl added to our family. Her name is Lark Elizabeth Teeples, is about 3 months old and is great doing stuff that baby's do.

The other 3 are doing well. Elsee has started playing comp soccer again, and Lukas and Elias decided they want to take a crack at it, and so we signed them up for rec soccer. Even though fighting does happen, they do get along so well and really do love each other.

We have really tried to keep them busy with camping, museums, riding bikes, swimming, and going for walks, which has seemed to have payed off because if we go too long with out doing some sort of activity, they are good at reminding us that we need to be more active and get out.

Elsee and Lukas found out who there teachers will be next year. Lukas says he got who he wanted (Ms. Merrill) although a good friend is in the other class. Elsee has mixed emotions, not really having a preference on teachers. The emotions come in when all her good friends are in the other class. We know she's a positive girl and will do fine in any situation she's in.

Anyways, that's it for now. Hopefully we can keep this going...and eventually someone will actually read it as well.

It's Time To Get This Thing Started!!!

So my sister in-law has been asking me when I'm going to actually start something with my blog, and well I figured today is better than any other. I am still in the beginner phase, trying to figure out how to post and add pictures. I figure if I can feel my way around it a few times sooner or later it will become second nature to me, and I'll be a professional at it before long.

Well here we are. The Teeples family. Or at least this is what we looked like in November. We may look a little older now, but are not any wiser.

Darin is still looking for a job. He applies, sometimes hears back, but has not yet found a fit.

I am still working mornings at the post office, but have been applying at local credit unions hoping to get hired on. I figure if I can find something it will increase my hours, and more insurance options for my family.

Elsee is just about to finish up second grade. She loves her teacher and has made quite a number of close friends. She is currently playing soccer, and is still in the hunt for her elusive first goal. Keep your fingers crossed for her, as her brother scored one his very first game he had ever played. She wants to eventually start dance, and we told her that we'll look into it as soon as the school year finishes up.

Lukas has turned into a Star Wars/Sponge Bob lover, who can't let a single day go by without watching something from one or the other. He misses his sister while she's at school, but is a great help when it comes to tending to things pertaining to his younger brother. He's playing soccer, but due to the wet spring that we've had has only played a couple of games.

Elias turned one year old yesterday. We made cupcakes and then let him have at it. He's finally mastered the baby crawl, loves to stand, but doesn't trust himself to take those first steps. He says a few words which include; mama, dada, nah (no), and our favorite, kitty.

Well that's it for now. Be patient with me, and maybe if I get around to it I'll tell you about our family rip to California some time.
